OVRWire player profiles give Pro-Am gamertags a real season page. A player should not have to screenshot five leaderboards to prove what he did. The profile connects team, position, handle, season averages, game logs, shooting, recent form, signature games, career history, and shareable card context.

Every stat line has a name on it. OVRWire makes that name searchable.

How We Verify

Player profiles are built from roster and stat connections:

  1. A player identity starts with a gamertag, display name, handle, and roster membership.
  2. Game rows attach that player to a team, match, and season.
  3. Aggregated leader rows build averages and totals.
  4. Verified game logs power signature games, career highs, and last-10 form.
  5. Archive-only rows are labeled when complete game logs are not available.

If a profile lacks verified logs, OVRWire should show the available aggregate row and avoid inventing career highs or signature games.

FAQ

Can a player profile follow me across teams?

Yes, when roster membership connects the same player identity across seasons or teams.

Why does my profile say archive source?

That means OVRWire has preserved season data but may not have full verified game logs for every match. The profile should label that instead of pretending the detail exists.

What does qualified mean?

Qualified means the player has enough games to meet the leaderboard minimum for the active scope. Below-minimum players can appear, but they should be marked.

Can I use my profile for a player card?

Yes. A profile gives the graphics lane cleaner stats, team context, and source links. You can still order graphics without a hosted profile.

Why are some shooting splits blank?

Shooting percentages require made and attempted shots. If the source did not include those fields, OVRWire should leave them unavailable.

How do I fix my gamertag or team?

Send the exact profile, correct display name or team, and evidence. Organizer review should confirm identity changes so records do not get merged incorrectly.
