OVRWire standings show the shape of a Pro-Am season without making organizers maintain a public spreadsheet. The table is built for the questions players actually ask: Who is on top? Who is below the playoff line? Who is hot? Who has the receipts?

The standings page is more than a win-loss list. It can show seed, team, wins, losses, win percentage, games back, point differential, points per game, opponent points per game, streak, last 10, and recent form when those fields are sourced.

How We Verify

OVRWire standings are built from reviewed game records:

  1. A final score starts from a submitted box-score screenshot, archive row, or trusted league source.
  2. The game enters a review state before it affects public truth.
  3. Organizer review checks the teams, final score, player rows, and validation flags.
  4. Approved or locked results can count toward standings.
  5. Corrections are tracked when evidence changes a result.

If a field is not sourced, OVRWire should leave it blank or label it unavailable instead of guessing.

FAQ

What is the playoff cutline?

The playoff cutline marks the seed threshold for bracket qualification in the current league setup. It helps players see who is above the line and who is chasing.

Why does a team record not match a Discord conversation?

The public table reflects the reviewed data OVRWire has on file. If a game is missing, duplicated, disputed, or not approved yet, it may not count until the organizer reviews the receipt.

Can point differential be wrong if player rows are partial?

Point differential comes from final scores, not from rebuilding every player row. If player lines are partial, OVRWire can still preserve the final while labeling incomplete box-score data.

Do pending games affect standings?

Pending or needs-review games should not drive final standings. They need organizer review first.

Can standings be grouped by division or conference?

Yes, when the league data includes those fields. If the league does not use divisions or conferences, the table should stay overall.

How do corrections work?

Send the exact game, current value, corrected value, and source evidence. Corrections should be attached to the record instead of quietly replacing history.
