A 10s run is a pickup run for NBA 2K players in your Discord server. Players sign up by position and squads form from whoever shows up, from two squads up to fifteen. OVRWire runs the signups, the draft and the voice rooms. Add OVRWire and type /10s.
Free, and no league needed. Discord asks for Manage Server to add a bot, so if that isn't you, send this page to your server's admin.

How it works
Add it, type /10s, play
Add OVRWire
Press Add to Discord, choose your server and approve the permissions Discord lists.
Type /10s
Type /10s in the channel where you want to play and fill in the short form. OVRWire posts a signup card.
Join, then draft
Players join by position: PG, SG, SF, PF or C. Anyone can volunteer to captain. Each captain gets a squad, and captains pick in turn, or Auto Draft balances the squads. Anyone not picked, and anyone who joins late, forms extra full squads once the draft ends, so with five to a squad, twenty players make four squads.
Play, then run it back
Pick a voice category for squad rooms (and a lobby room, for moves on check-in) in Run setup. Rooms are made when teams are set if Make rooms automatically is on, or when a run manager taps Create squad rooms. After the game, run it back with the same squads.

Everything a 10s run needs
Signups by position
Players pick up to three positions and say if they'll captain.
Captain draft or Auto Draft
Captains pick on a pick clock, and if it runs out OVRWire picks the best fit. Or choose Auto Draft and OVRWire balances the squads.
Pause and undo
Pause the draft and the clock stops, so nobody is picked for. Undo the last pick and the clock restarts for it.
Squads and voice rooms
With a voice category picked in Run setup, each squad gets a voice room when a run manager taps Create squad rooms, or as soon as teams are set if Make rooms automatically is on. Players in voice get there with Take me to my room.
Check-ins
Players tap I'm here so their squad knows who is on. Once squad rooms are up, Send squads to rooms moves the players who checked in.
Run history and your 10s profile
Every run keeps its lineups. My 10s profile shows the runs you played and who picked whom.

Common questions
Is it free?
Yes. Adding OVRWire to your server and running 10s costs nothing.
Do I need a league?
No. Add OVRWire to any server and type /10s. A league is for running a full season, and 10s doesn't need one.
How many people can play?
As many as fill a squad, up to fifteen squads. Squad size is five unless you pick a smaller one, down to two, when you start a run. Results are logged for each pair of squads, so a bigger run can log several games.
What permissions does it ask for, and why?
These are the permissions on the invite. Discord shows the same list before you approve.
For voice rooms
- Manage ChannelsMakes a voice room for each squad, and removes it when the run is over.
- View ChannelsLets it see the channel you type /10s in, and the voice rooms it makes.
- ConnectLets it use the voice rooms it makes, which Discord requires before it can move people into them.
- Move MembersMoves players who check in into their squad's voice room.
For posting
- Send MessagesPosts the signup card and the draft updates.
- Embed LinksShows the card's banner and links.
- Create Public ThreadsStarts a thread for each run, if a manager turns threads on in Run setup.
- Send Messages in ThreadsPosts in that thread.
OVRWire never asks for Administrator, Manage Server or Manage Messages.

Is this an official 2K bot?
No. OVRWire is independent and isn't affiliated with 2K, the NBA or Discord.
